![]() Warrior with gun is kekw, it's an opt-in weapon wich doesnt even get used. Guns on Engineer in general are not really your primary weapon. Both open world and playing story solo etc.Įngineer with the Holosmith or Mechanist aesthetic isn't really close to your usual gunslinger. Weapons in this game are closely tied to your effectiveness. I picked the race to play with my friend, and I can't help but love how a massive Norn just goes "parry this you filthy casual" whike everyone seems to be in a contest to see how colossal their swords are. As a sidenote, I love how much the firearms contrast with the aesthetic of the Norn. It's probably obvious which class I picked, I went with Thief after hearing all the crazy shit this vocation can do, and although I really liked how some of you described the Engineer, it probably fits better as an alternative character, same for the Warrior. Is Thief too hard and is it good enough with a gun in his hand to justify picking it over the others?Īnd does Warrior get good skills regarding firearms? Still talking about Warrior, is it versatile enough to allow me to switch between a gunslinger build and some greatsword or other stuff? And is it boring like other "Fighter-like" classes in other MMO's?Įdit: thanks for all the comments, I really appreciate your advices. This leaves me with the Warrior, and while I don't have any issue with this class, I don't know if it can perform as well with a gun as the other 2 (Engineer seems to be the one that makes the best use of firearms). Same issue with the Thief, it seems like my kind of playstyle, but I feel like it's going to get very skill-demanding very fast, and will require me to get a lot of practice to master the resource management and timing of this class. The obvious choice would be Engineer, but from what I've heard, this seems like a very hard class to play. If I'm not mistaken, Engineer, Thief and Warrior can all use guns. I've just started to play, and have decided I'll go for a firearm character, I think the gunslinger aesthetic will fit my vibe.
